Two twenty minute
re-enactments of the
Christmas celebration
of the birth of Jesus Christ will be presented free each
evening at
7:00p and 8:00p |

The Mt. Hawley Community Church
Community, the living nativity cast, sheep, and Mary and Joseph’s
donkey invite you to join this wondrous reenactment
that has become part of the Peoria area’s celebration of Christmas for over
thirty years.
Outdoor seating is available, or you can watch the
presentation from your vehicle
on
the church parking lot. Children are invited to pet the gentle sheep
and donkey after each performance. |

More Than 35 Years of Tradition |

Then pastor,
Tom Malbone, and his wife Joanne began this 30 plus year
tradition using members of the congregation in the cast. The
tradition continues each year with some of the original cast members
still putting on their costumes. |
