Mt. Hawley Community Church

When you visit Mt. Hawley Community Church, we will greet you as an invited guest. Our greeters will cheerfully direct you to the worship area. If you have children we will introduce them to others their own age and encourage them to see the spectacular children’s Sunday School rooms on the second level. A staffed nursery is available for your convenience.

When you visit Mt. Hawley Community Church, we will greet you with a smile; offer some coffee and a friendly handshake. If you do not remember your greeter’s name, please do not hesitate to ask. Our hope is that you will feel welcome and at home. If you need anything or have any questions, please ask any of us.

If you are seeking a new home church, you have come to the right location. People here love the Lord and enjoy the worship service. The dress code is predominantly casual but you will feel comfortable in most any modest attire. The church offers open communion on various Sundays. If you have a special prayer concern, please complete the pink prayer request card located in the pocket on the back of each pew. Please give the request to an usher, greeter or place it in the offering plate. Each prayer request will then be given to the pastor.

If you have not been in a church for awhile, that is okay. You can feel very comfortable worshipping at any level. You may sing, clap or simply watch and listen. We usually stand while singing. If you are not physically able to stand, please remain seated… you may not be the only one. You will not be called upon to stand, pray or introduce yourself. Simply sit back and relax; and of course enjoy a time of worshipping God.

When you visit we will ask you to voluntarily complete a visitor’s card. If you complete the information two things will occur: First, the information is given to the pastor in order that he may send a simple letter of appreciation for your visit. You will receive the church phone number and a personal invitation from the pastor to contact him if you have any concerns or questions. Secondly, the welcoming committee will present you with a loaf of freshly baked bread and a Mt. Hawley Community Church coffee mug. The person that delivers the gifts will call your home before arriving.

Finally, when you visit you will be welcomed regardless of your present or past situations. Jesus left an open invitation. “Come to me, all…”. God loved you enough to send his Son.
